👸 Queen of the Cape

You know who loves a cape? Meghan Markle, that's who. Did you see her outfits last week - her last outfits as a senior member of the Royal family. I was so there for her signature cape moves. As Royal fashion commentator Elizabeth Holmes (follow her here or on her instagram - this fabulous journalist also has a book coming out later this year) said, Meghan is the Queen of the Cape. YES. Yes, she is.

So, why does Meghan like a cape? I think it's a way for her to make a dramatic statement with an otherwise structured outfit. That's where I most like to enlist the super powers of a cape too. I'll add a cape to a simple jeans and t-shirt outfit for a smart casual look that's a little bit extra. Why not join me this autumn and do the same with our Kirsten cape?
